2023 in Books

Some people wait all year for their Spotify Wrapped while I get most excited for my stats from The StoryGraph to come through.

  • This year I read 41 books and out of those I gave 15 a 5-star rating.

  • That amounted to 14, 028 pages

  • The quickest I read a book was in one day

  • The longest book took me 52 days to read (why is it always audiobooks that take me the longest??)

  • 24 of the books I read were part of a series (I also loved TV series so maybe there’s some sort of theme?)

  • My main book mood was ‘mysterious’

  • I DNF’d 9 books

  • 63% of the books I read were in print while 29% were digital and 7% were audio

  • My most read author was Lea Wait with 6 of her books under my belt

  • And I read 17 books from my own bookshelves!

Like my TV and Film wrap up, I asked ChatGPT to analyze the books I read and give me some insights. Here’s what they came up with it:
